In a large skillet as wide as the length of the linguine, place dry pasta on the bottom of the pan. Add tomatoes, garlic, olive oil, oregano, beans, basil, salt and pepper. Pour water over the ingredients. Bring to a boil, and then cook on medium heat uncovered for 15 minutes. As soon as pasta softens, stir frequently. Serve with freshly grated parmesan.
